Project Access for Children
What:
Access to medical services for uninsured children.

Purpose:
Secure donated physician care, hospital services and medical assistance for uninsured children with medical needs for families with income below 185% of poverty.
How:
- Maintain a network of participating sites and volunteer physicians.
- Screen and enroll qualified children at primary care sites.
- Provide case management and referral for qualified children.
Outcome:
- Any qualified child seen at primary care sites can be referred for specialty care.
- Hospital services are donated.
- Outpatient medications are available.
Cost/Term:
$62,000 for a two-year period.
