From: Girl Scouts – North Carolina Coastal Pines
Purpose: Develop strategies and implement a tactical plan to fully integrate a positive youth development approach through the implementation of an evaluation and outcomes measurement system.
How:
1. Identify funders for Phase II of the project (funding for Phase II is not included in this application).
2. Hire a consultant to oversee the planning process.
3. Involve stakeholders in the action plan for implementation in all facets of the organization’s operations.
4. Create benchmarks, milestones, and timeline for evaluating progress of implementation.
5. Develop and implement strategies for ensuring participation of girl members and adult volunteers.
6. Begin to collect, report on and use findings.
Outcome:
1. A comprehensive implementation and evaluation plan for the integration of the evaluation and outcomes measurement system.
2. Preliminary results to help the organization refine and finalize the integration of the system in Phase II.
Cost/Term: $38,500 over one year.
