Capacity Building Initiative Grants Awarded to Five Nonprofits
Five new grants, totaling $132,454, will be funded by the John Rex Endowment through a Capacity Building Initiative. Funding supports projects that aim to enhance an organization’s ability to sustain programs and improve performance. The grants include organizational assessment planning projects as well as capacity building implementation.
Four nonprofits will receive capacity building implementation grants which support projects such as board development and improved communications. The organizations receiving funds for capacity building implementation include:
- The Arc of Wake County
- Autism Society of NC
- Riley Hill Family Life Center
- Triangle Family Services
Wade Edwards Foundation will receive an organizational assessment planning grant, which is supported through the Capacity Building Initiative and designated to idenitfy priorities that wil help to build infrastructure and operations efficiency for long-lasting benefits.
