New Member and Officers Announced for Board of Directors
The John Rex Endowment is pleased to announce officers and a new member of its board of directors. Richard Daugherty, retired vice president of IBM Worldwide Manufacturing division, has been appointed to serve as a new member.
Wake County Chief District Court Judge Robert Rader will continue to serve as board chair. Sherry Worth will serve as vice chair, and Larry Barbour, president and CEO of North State Bank, will serve as treasurer. Virginia Parker, director of strategic partnerships at Wake Tech Foundation, will serve as secretary.
Orage Quarles III, president and publisher of The News & Observer, has completed his terms of service and leadership.
